Bob's Twin Kitchen is a straightforward fast food spot tucked into Indio with a steady following that’s been building for over 30 years. It's the kind of place where locals drop by for filling, no-frills meals that hit the spot without breaking the bank. You’ll find it busiest during breakfast and lunchtime, especially with folks who want a quick, hearty bite before heading back to work or tackling the day.

The menu centers around classic Mexican-American fast food staples like tacos, tortas, and plates featuring beef barbacoa or asada, all priced with budget-friendly sensibility. Thick-cut fries stand apart from the usual fast food style—think large potato wedges served hot and unsalted, giving you room to season or sauce them yourself. The wet burrito and the asada fries come up frequently in conversations, capturing that satisfying mix of comfort and flavor that brings customers back.

Inside, the atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, reflecting its role as a neighborhood stop where the staff know many customers by name. Friendly service seems customary, with moments of genuine warmth from employees making the experience feel less rushed than your typical fast food joint. The vibe is practical—no fancy décor or hype, just solid, honest food and speedy service.

If you’re visiting Palm Springs or just passing through Indio, Bob’s Twin Kitchen offers a reliable spot for a filling meal on the go, especially if you’re craving something beyond the usual chain fare. It’s well-suited for workers, families, and anyone looking for large portions without fuss, especially mid-morning to early afternoon. The small details, like offering a classic 0.5 liter glass bottle of coke or secret menu items hinted at by longtime patrons, add to the local character of the place.

We visited yesterday. Sarah was amazing, she was friendly and has an amazing attitude. This place has been around for over 30 years. We had the hamburger special and the wet burrito.

You can't take stars away from this place being what it is. It's great food for people who work hard. You come here and get a massive breakfast burrito with refried beans and chorizo for under $10. Tried the wings, also delicious, buffalo dip and ranch are both delicious. Bob's Sandwich was also excellent. Oh ya, .5 L glass bottle coke, ya, get that too. If you're out in Palm Springs, and need a place for breakfast or lunch that won't break the bank and you don't need to dress up for, stop here.

Coming here for years. I get a bunch of different things. This time I got taquitos deluxe with nacho cheese fries. So fresh and yummy. I really enjoyed the sauces and salsas.

This spot is well hidden and is definitely a must stop spot if you are in the city. The food is great and tasty, best of all affordable. I got a hamburger for a few dollars and it did not disappoint. SO DAMN GOOD! The fries, though they look like some regular crinkle cut fries, they were actually huge potato wedge sizes! Unsalted but super hot, and they have salt packets and sauces. Staff was amazing and bilingual. AMAZING! such a small place with a huge heart for food and it's customers. Would travel out just to eat there again.

Overheard inside two people upset early afternoon I ghost wrote this review by walking with my phone in my pocket ten miles to meet the tow truck driver in sweatpants ants aunts and that's an act and t & an & tried not to leave a mess. Try the fried mayonnaise quad corn dog ortega chili burger basket cake on the secret menu. You can only order on your birthday with proof of either valid drivers license or library card.

I usually just stop by every now and then not a regular, but I guess I stopped by enough and I ordered the same thing over and over at the person who always takes my order remembers the little things that I always want ketchup and I don’t even have to ask anymore very much appreciated. The food is always amazing as well.

Fun family friendly, family owned restaurant with unique dishes. French fries were delicious. Food size for a burger a bit small but tasty. Decor is sports themed. Drive through, indoor and outdoor seating.
